If you are a woman, no matter what stage of your life, who is ready or is wondering if it is time to identify and move forward with your personal and professional goals, this retreat is for you. Together we will explore answers and develop the next steps in your professional development. This training will also help you create a support system that includes women from diverse backgrounds, areas of interest, ages, and professions so you can develop a network outside your profession or organizations.
Outcomes of Professional Development Training
- Develop shared analysis of barriers for women, specifically women of color, to achieve positions of power at the state and local levels
- Create individual strategic plans and develop support and coaching agreements
- Develop a plan to assess policy, corporate and other barriers in your state or organization to support and expand the percentage of women in positions of power
- Develop cohorts to provide network opportunities and personal support for the next steps in your professional and personal life.
- Discuss seeding future cohorts
Commitment from Participants
- Attend a three-day leadership development retreat
- Commitment to building women power
- Interest in developing a personal strategic plan
- Willingness to identify barriers and create solutions
- Opportunity to participate in monthly group coaching sessions
- Participate in a power analysis of your state or organization to assess what kind of support you need to achieve your professional goals
- Explore the development of a Circle of Support in your state, organization or community
